New VAT rates
Following the reduction in VAT from 17.5% to 15.0%, announced in the Pre Budget Report, the London Elizabeth Hotel is pleased to confirm that the benefit of this reduction will be passed onto our guests for their accommodation.
Cancellation policy
The London Elizabeth’s cancellation policy makes no charge for reservations cancelled by noon (London time) of the day preceeding arrival, thereafter a maximum of one night’s room rate may only be incurred if the accommodation remains vacant.
Smoking policy
In July 2007 England joined other countries by banning smoking in public enclosed areas. This means that smokers are asked to please use the garden terrace or their room balconies (where available) whenever they wish to smoke.
The London Elizabeth Hotel has 37 non-smoking rooms and 12 dedicated smoking rooms and we do ask that guests let us know in advance what their preference is in order to make sure everyone is comfortable. If a preference is not stated we cannot guarantee that a non-smoking room will be allocated. Please note that all our suites and deluxe bedrooms are non-smoking.
